Why 5,000 and 5? In John 6:1-13, we find the story of Jesus feeding the 5000 with 5 loaves of bread and 2 fishes. Many people gathered to see Jesus and the disciples wondered how they were going to feed them. A boy had 5 loaves and 2 fishes and gave it to Jesus who blessed it and fed over 5000 people. When all had eaten, 12 baskets of food were gathered. God is able to do much with what we are able to give Him.
Maui Adventist School opened its doors in 1935, and it has introduced and reminded hundreds of children that "God provides in time of need and His love never ends." Today, Maui Adventist School like many christian schools, industries and business, have seen the effects of a sluggish economy. Our School enrollment is down by 50% as compared to a few years ago. As a result we have had to cut back on many areas including staffing. We are down to 2 teachers and face the real possibility of having only one teacher. We are asking for "a little" from you so that God can do something truly amazing with it, "something Big."

With your $5 donation, you will be reminding God's children that not only did God provide for the needs of the 5000 back then, but He continues to provide for each and everyone of us today.
